A state of emergency has been declared in Charlotte after a man was shot in the head by a civilian as a peaceful protest over the fatal police shooting of a black man turned violent.

Black Lives Matter protesters have blocked off a road leading to Heathrow Airport in London on Friday, causing traffic jam.

Mckesson was arrested for protesting the police killing of Alton Sterling and  is suing the city of Baton Rouge over his arrest last month at a protest of the black man fatally shot during a struggle with two white police officers.

Touching Facebook post from officer Montrell Jackson 10 days before he was killed in #BatonRouge yesterday

The Police Louisiana in State confirmed that three officers were killed and three others were injured with a rifle by a suspect clad in all black around 8.40am (2.40pm BST) local time on 17 July in Baton Rouge.

#BlackLivesMatter: US Police enters military mode for 'Day of Rage' protests


Five Dallas police officers were shot and killed at a protest in the United States of America following the death of two black men who were killed by police in separate incidents in Louisiana and Minnesota. Police killed the sniper Johnson after the attack by exploding a bomb in the location where he was cornered.

Black Lives Matter activist, DeRay McKesson released from detention



DeRay Mckesson, one of the most prominent activists associated with the police reform protest movement, was arrested in Baton Rouge, where he travelled earlier Saturday to demonstrate in solidarity with residents angered by the recent death of Alton Sterling after an officer-involved shooting that was captured on video.
