English music star, Ozzy Osbourne is opening up about the issues that caused his decades-long marriage with Sharon Osbourne to fall apart earlier this year.
"Over the last six years, Ozzy Osbourne has been dealing with a sex addiction," a rep for the Black Sabbath lead singer tells PEOPLE exclusively.
In May, there was an announcement that Sharon, 63, and Ozzy, 67, were splitting after Ozzy's four-year-long extramarital affair with his former hair colorist, Michelle Pugh, was revealed.
"[Osbourne] is sorry if Ms. Pugh took their sexual relationship out of context," the singer's statement rebutted. "He would like to apologize to the other women he has been having sexual relationships with. Out of the bad comes good. Since his relationship with Ms. Pugh was exposed, Ozzy has gone into intense therapy."
Earlier this month, however, the longtime spouses said they were fighting for their marriage of 33 years, and Ozzy told Good Morning America things were "back on track".
