According to reports from Ghanaians on Facebook, a police officer, Lance Corporal Wilfred Amuzu, yesterday killed his young son, his new-born baby, and his mother-in-law, who was bathing the newborn.
It is unclear why the Tema-stationed officer identified as Amuzu Wilfred with service number 46124, committed the heinous act of suicide-murder.
The deceased was booked for the AK47 assault rifle for a guard duty Monday evening but went home to commit the act, StarrFMonline, reports.
According to the post, the woman had reportedly suffered violence in the hands of her man, reported him to his superiors at the police station.
Amuzu was detained and locked up for a night and released the next day on bail. They said he went straight home after he was released, with his rifle and killed the entire family.
