South African pastor dies after going on a fast to break Jesus Christ's record



In a determined bid to break the record set by Jesus Christ of Nazareth, a 44-year-old popular South African pastor, Alfred Ndlovu, has died of malnutrition following a dry fasting that lasted for 30 days.

Nigeria: Another chained child rescued in Ogun state


10-year-old Promise Udeh on Thursday, was rescued by the Ogun Police Command. She was found chained in a house at Saraki, Adigbe area of Abeokuta, Ogun State, after neighbours alerted the police.

Celestial Church of Christ responds to chained 9-year-old report



The Celestial Church of Christ has spoken concerning the report of one of their pastors, Francis Taiwo, and his chained nine-year-old son, Korede Taiwo, who for weeks without food at the Key of Joy Parish, Ajiwo, Ajibawo in Ado Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Pastor Francis Taiwo was arrested  for chaining and starving his 9-year old boy Korede  after the little boy was found by officials of the National Security and Civil Defence Corps on July 22.
