Abusive words: APC Osun state women call for suspension of Senator Dino Melaye



Nigerian women are not going to take this easy with Senator Dino Melaye it appears.

Women of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Osun state, have come together to release a statement calling for the suspension of Senator  Dino Melaye.

Senator Dino Melaye, who is representing Kogi West, has been in the news for a few days over his threat and for abusing Senator Oluremi Tinubu (Lagos Central Senatorial District) on Thursday, has denied the filthy words he reportedly used on her, but confirmed that the incident did take place.

Women's group to protest at National Assembly if Sen. Dino Melaye refuses to apologize to Mrs Tinubu



Following the drama between Senator  Dino Melaye and  his colleague, Senator Remi Tinubu during the senate's plenary on July 13th, a women based group, the Women Advocacy Research and Development Centre (WARDC) has given him three days to apologize to Mrs Tinubu or they would demonstrate at the National Assembly.
