Three confirmed deaths from Lassa Fever in Anambra state, Nigeria



A medical doctor and two people have died of Lassa fever in Anambra State, the director of Public Health, Anambra Ministry of Health, Emmanuel Okafor, said on Thursday.

Married policeman and married lover found dead after spending the night together



Last Saturday, a police inspector and a father-of-three died alongside his lover, Ifeoma, a member of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC and a mother-of-five, in the former's apartment of the policeman at Ezinifite Okpuno village in Awka South LGA, Anambra State.

Controversy surrounding the death of six siblings



Contrary to allegations making the round, the Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, Mr Hosea Karma, has stated that the six siblings, who died in Ekwulumili, Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra state, about two weeks ago after eating a meal of rice and beans, were not poisoned.
