A man who was involved in raising money for a cancer charity died during the RideLondon cycling race on Sunday, the BBC reports.
Robin Chard took part in a fund raise for Cancer Research UK, after both his father and stepfather died from lung cancer.
Mr Chard had also suffered Hodgkin's Lymphoma as a child.( Hodgkin's lymphoma, (HL) also known as Hodgkin lymphoma or Hodgkin's disease, is a type of lymphoma, in which cancer originates from a specific type of white blood cells called lymphocytes.)
The family was told he died of a suspected heart attack during the 100-mile race which he didn't finish.
There have been more donations into his fundraising account after the news of his death broke, according to Huffington Post.
May his family be comforted in this difficult times.
