Chained and underfed child rescued from church premises

A shocking discovery was made by the officials of the National Security and Civil Defence Corps yesterday July 22.

They found a 9-year-old boy who had allegedly been chained for weeks on the church premises of the Celestial Church of Christ, Ajiwo.

The boy has been identified as Taiwo Korede but beyond that, little else is known about the case, but it has been transferred to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.
