Tension in Ikorodu, Lagos as 50 persons are feared dead

According to reports, suspected pipeline vandals invaded the Igbo Olomu Community in Ikorodu area of Lagos this morning shooting sporadically in the air.



Following the massive shooting, 50 people are feared dead

Residents continue to flee the area in the wave of deadly attacks by suspected militants. Last weekend, the militants reportedly killed 15 people in five communities in Ogun State. The communities share “borders” with Ikorodu.

Police say three people died in the attack but fleeing residents alleged the police are lying.
