Is this supposed to be a competition?
Justice Jide Oyelola had last Friday ruled that Muslim female pupils in all public schools should be allowed to wear hijab to schools in Osun state without any harassment or molestation.
The state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, then threatened to direct Christian pupils to wear choir robes and other church garments to public schools in Osun State should the state government implement the court judgment on hijab.
The result of that threat is the pictures you see here which are flying all over cyberspace.

Christian secondary school students in Osun State on Tuesday wore church garments to their schools, in a dramatic but defiant protest against the use of Hijab by female Muslim students.
Students attended Baptist High School, Adeeke in Iwo town of Osun State and Salvation Army Middle School, Alekuwodo, in the church robes.
Officials of the Christian Association of Nigeria were on hand to observe the reaction of the teachers who apparently foreknew the development, the teachers did not react to the new dress codes. They quietly went on with their teaching schedules for the day.
The government should stop play with these children's future. It's so not fair.
Our country is presently running an endangered public schools sector, where government and religious bodies are playing with the future of the youth.
Meanwhile, their children have Ivy League education abroad.
End of rant.
