Sadly, Eddie Justice, the 30-year-old man who texted his mother as one Omar Mateen carried the massacre at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, has been found dead, city officials have confirmed.
Mina Justice was sound asleep when she received the first text from her son who was in the gay nightclub when a gunman opened fire and slaughtered 50 and wounded more than 50 others.
Sunday's shooting is one of the top 10 mass shootings in the past 30 years in the USA.
