Moment when baby in womb grabs the doctor's finger (Watch)

Alicia and Randy Atkins were excited to welcome their baby girl Nevaeh into the world. She would be the fifth addition to the couple’s growing family since they already had two bundles of joy.

This all took place back in 2013 when the young couple was scheduled for a C-section to deliver baby Nevaeh  which is “Heaven” spelled backwards.

Dr. Sawyer of Glendale, Arizona was the medical professional in charge of administering the surgery.

The doctor began the C-section, but just as he was pulling the baby from the womb, something amazing happened. Nevaeh grabbed Dr. Sawyer’s finger. At that moment, he excitedly called over Randy to steal a glance of the rare occasion. However, Randy immediately grabbed his camera to make sure to capture whatever it was Dr. Sawyer was so excited about.

“The doctor called me over and said, ‘Hey, she’s grabbing my finger.’ So I ran over there and just grabbed the shot and I was just in awe looking at it. It was such an amazing picture,” said Randy Atkins

“It was such an amazing photo. Hospital staff had possibly heard of it happening but they had never seen a photo of it,” said Alicia Atkins
