Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, yesterday January 30, 2016 has been transferred from Christ the King Parish, GRA, Enugu, which he presided over as parish priest for 20 years.
As he left to the new church Our lady Parish, Emene,also in Enugu, where he will be an assistant parish priest (some people think it is a demotion), over 30 lorries accompanied by thousands of his faithful followers escorted him in a motorcade.
The new parish priest at Christ the King is a younger priest, Father Theodore Ozoamalu. He has studied at Bigard Memorial Seminary Enugu, St. Johncross Seminary,Nsukka and Sacred Heart Seminary Nsude.
Fr. Ozoamalu is loved by his parishioners and recently completed a parish house in Enugu sometime in 2015.
