Gambia’s Independence Stadium was filled with over 10,000 people for over an hour of Nigerian star, Wizkid’s performance as part of the country’s 50th Independence Anniversary celebrations on February 28. Wizkid and six Gambian artists opened the show. Amongst them were Bai Babu, Jizzle, T.Smallz and Gee, who came out during Wizzy’s set to perform a freestyle and one of his singles, chosen by the Star Boy himself “Demmeh Num fa Demmeh”.
One of Wizzy’s fans presented him with a hoodie on stage, which - to everybody’s amazement - Wiz wore for the rest of the concert.
