Oops: CNN mistakenly puts up Russian's President Putin's picture in place of ISIS militant

Recently, CNN has been involved in a series of graphical blunders, like confusing Barack Obama and Osama Bin Laden and forgetting where Hong Kong is.

Now they have accidentally identified Jihadi John as Putin, flashing up a picture of the Russian President during a package about the Isis militant.

The Telegraph reports CNN quickly apologized, saying it was due to a “failure of a video server” and the photo was for the channel’s next report. “We apologize for that mistake,” a spokesperson added.
