This is a really nice song if you ask me.
With the Nigerian elections only a few weeks away, Nigerian novelist, Chibundu Onuzo, teams up with her sister, Dinachi, to send Nigerians a much needed election message: “Don’t sell your future for today’s gain.”
In this song, Chibundu warns the Nigerian voter to beware of politicians seeking to buy votes with cheap handouts.
“Choose wisely, four years na long time o”.
Chibundu is known as a novelist. Her debut novel, Spider King’s Daughter, was very popular in 2012. I hear she's working on her next novel as well as studying at King’s College, London. Her sister, Dinachi, who is a singer-song-writer, plays the guitar and sings in a charming like Asa.
