Mayra Rosales, 34, was 1,000lb when her nephew Eliseo, 2, died after her sister, his mum Jamie hit him in the head with a hairbrush. Jamie begged Mayra to take the blame and she did because she had 'given up on life' anyway.
Unfortunately, autopsy disclaimed Mayra's story and Jamie confessed and was jailed for 15 years.
Mayra then vowed to get healthier so she could take care of sister's children. 11 surgeries after including a lap band procedure, extra skin removal surgery and a change in the way she thought about food, she now looks a whole lot better and happier.
