GTBank LFDW Presents "Meta 5" At International Fashion Showcase 2015 in London

Guaranty Trust Bank Lagos Fashion and Design Week (GT Bank LFDW), in collaboration with Nigerian Export Promotion Council, announces its participation at the annual International Fashion Showcase hosted at Brewery street Car Park by British Council / British Fashion Council at London Fashion Week from 20 - 24 February.

The GTbank LFDW platform will present designers Grey, Iamisigo, Kenneth Ize, Orange Culture and LFDW Fashion Focus 2015 Finalist/ Fayrouz L'Original Season 1 winner - T.I Nathan; via a curated static exhibition titled 'Meta 5', which is co-sponsored by Fayrouz Nigeria. Nnenna Ifebigh-Hemeson, Senior Brand Manager, Fayrouz said "We are proud of Temitayo, a designer from the winning team of Fayrouz L'Original 2014. We believe this is only the beginning of his wonderful journey. Our hope is that his success will encourage other young creative individuals to follow their dreams and challenge themselves to Be Original like the Fayrouz brand"

Meta 5 is an experiment in time that admires both the naturally subtle and wildly obvious progressions in the trajectory of a designer's fashion artistry, curated by Yegwa Ukpo.


International Fashion Showcase 2015 will host over 130 emerging designers from 30 countries in the largest public fashion exhibition of its kind. Each participating country will present a selection of emerging designers whom they feel most represents the future of fashion in their region. This year's event will include designer mentoring programmes and seminars on business development facilitated by London College of Fashion.
