Teresia Musengya gave birth to the four premature baby girls after developing labour pains, two kilometres from the hospital.
She was helped to deliver by a female friend who went with her.
After delivery, the woman, 30, went to Kitui County Referral Hospital. As indicated by specialists, the the new-borns weighing 1.2 kilograms each are healthy, active and sound in the hospital’s new born unit. Teresia is appealing for aid from well-wishers to help raise the babies.
