Watch: Incredibly rare moment when Spanish baby was born in amniotic sac

Incredible: The baby's blue umbilical cord, through which it is receiving oxygen, can be clearly distinguished on the video

This is an incredibly rare and beautiful experience; the moment a child is born while still inside its fully intact amniotic sac - known as the caul - is something estimated to occur in one in every 80,000 births.

First breath: The doctor turns the baby over as it takes its first breath

The video was taken in Spain on Saturday and captures the rare moment the baby was born with the membrane covering its entire body, just minutes after its twin was delivered normally.

The baby was born just moments after its twin who was delivered normally. The amniotic sac usually breaks because of stress during childbirth but it was different in the case of this baby.
