How the shape of your body parts shows how healthy you could be

Several parts of your body like waist circumference, leg length, and arm can be important factors for predicting health and risk of disease, according to scientists.

Check this out:

Bra size

According to a study published by the Canadian Journal of Medical Association, women who have D bra size in their twenties, are more likely to develop type 2 diabetes than women who have smaller breasts. This is due to the fat tissue in breasts which is sensitive to hormones, and affects insulin resistance. Healthy diet, regular workout, and balanced weight are key aspects of diabetes treatment.

Leg length

People with shorter legs have tendencies to have issues  with their liver, according to British Experts who discovered that women with leg length of 50 to 73 cm had a higher number of liver enzymes, which could eventually lead to liver disorder. Another research shows that adults with short legs, are at greater risk for coronary heart disease (CHD) via hypercholesterolaemia, impaired glucose and insulin regulation, increased pulse pressure and systolic blood pressure, and higher fibrinogen levels. Some cancers are associated with relatively long legs.

Finger length

Women with a shorter index finger than ring finger have a higher risk of developing osteoarthritis in older age. The shorter your index finger, the sharper your tongue, scientists have also found. Men with shorter index fingers are more likely to pick fights. Women with the same hand shape are more likely to react with aggression after being provoked.
