Toilet-themed cafe to open in Canada

The toilet cafe has been a recent trend especially in Asian cities. Meals are presented as human waste products and they are served in toilet-themed bowls or plates.

Toronto, Canada’s most populous city is set to open the first toilet restaurant in Canada.

“I went to Taiwan two years ago and tried the Modern Toilet Restaurant and I really liked it,” said owner Lien Nguyen. “I decided to bring a toilet restaurant to Toronto because I didn’t see anybody open one up. It’d be nice to have one here, so you don’t have to travel so far to have that experience.”

Nguyen assures customers that although the theme is all about the toilet, they will not be eating poop in their meal nor even in their coffee.
