About Mayowa's Health...
She has been in and out of the hospitals both general and best private clinics around and after several visits she was advised in June 2016 that she has the following complications
Ovarian malignancy with liver metastasis - Ovarian cancer presently diagnosed to be at stage 4 already affecting the liver.
HbSS – meaning she has sickle cell anemia or generally called SS – managing very well all her life until the last 9 months when it became frequent.
Vaso-occlusive crisis – which means her hip bone is no longer supporting her hip and can’t move.
Left leg ulcer with sepsis – which means she has infection from wound.
We have engaged a doctor in the US for help and after exchange of documents, for them to commence treatment they require an initial deposit of US$100,000 (about N32 million) so we can move her to them. We are also considering Dubai as a backup for ease of visa and travel plans.
