The mother of the slain Deaconess from the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Mrs. Eunice Olawale, has now been finally notified about the death of her daughter, after the burial had taken place.
In many Nigerian cultures, it is a taboo for parents to attend the burial of their children.

The Deaconess was killed by some men in Kubwa, Abuja while she preached on the roadside in her neighborhood.
She was laid to rest 4 days ago on the 23rd of July which would coincidentally have been her 42nd birthday.
Eunice’s mother was notified by her cousin Emmanuel Apata who had earlier gone on a one-man protest over the slaying of his cousin at NTA Ibadan. He paid a visit to Eunice’s mother in Ilawe, Ekiti to break the sad news.
According to Apata, her mother said, “I prayed enough but if God can still allow this to happen to me, I know His grace will be sufficient for me.”
Sad pictures from her burial are below:
May her soul rest in peace!
