Over the weekend, the wife of the Imo State governor, Nneoma Rochas-Okorocha, commissioned and presented a new two-bedroom furnished bungalow to the only surviving child of a widow, Mrs Akubaa.
The orphan was excited and said he wished his mother was alive to see the building.
"I wish my mum was here to witness this day. But I'm sure she's smiling from heaven." he said.
It really is a nice gesture and we do hope that he would have guardians with him because the boy is really too young to be living alone.
