Nigerian Women's 4x400 relay team disqualified from 2016 Rio Games after an athlete tested positive

Nigeria's Tosin Adeloye has been disqualified after testing positive for a banned substance.

The Nigerian Women's 4x400 relay team will not compete in the 2016 Rio Games, after an athlete, Tosin Adeloye, tested positive for a banned substance.

She was disqualified by the International Association of Athletics Federation and Cuba would now take Nigeria's place at the games.

The news comes after a tough start for Nigerian athletics.

Recall that we shared a video of some athletes complaining that they didn't eat for 3 days.
