An Abuja resident has allegedly killed his 11-year-old son after he discovered that the boy had slept with his 8-year-old sister.
The man, identified only as Solomon, has been cursing the "demons" that led to his son committing the incestuous act with his younger sister.
Narrating the incident, Solomon claimed that he returned home to find his son engaging in a sex act with his daughter in his bedroom.
“Victor was my son, an 11-year-old boy. I had been receiving bad reports about him. The height of it was that he started sleeping with his sister, who is eight-years-old. I had been receiving several reports about the ugly incident. Around 4.00 pm, I came back from work and met Victor sleeping with his sister in my bedroom. The stepmother was not at home,” Solomon said.
Fuming with anger and distraught from what he had just witness, Solomon beat the boy so severely that he went into convulsion and lost consciousness the next day.
The boy, who was rushed to a nearby hospital by his neighbors, is alleged to have passed away soon after arriving at the medical facility.
Doctors confirmed soon after that the boy has succumbed to injuries he sustained while receiving a beating from his father.
Wilson Inalegwu, FCT Police Commissioner, has confirmed the tragic development, urging parents to keep an eye on their kids and ensure that they are aware of what type of programming their children are viewing, Sun News Online reports.
