Ogun State Government has uncovered 30 unlicensed nurses on its pay roll. It makes you wonder how much harm their quackery has caused the system.
The Director of Nursing in the state, Patience Odutayo, who made this known, said some of the nurses had been practicing without valid licences.
The nurses, she said, were uncovered at a recent verification of nurses by the State Hospitals Management Board in Abeokuta.
She revealed that the nursing department of the board embarked on the exercise to ascertain the authenticity of certificates and licences of serving nurses.
