Nigerians take Caitlyn Jenner's transgender show off DSTV

MultiChoice Nigeria, owner of Dstv and Gotv has expressed its concern over the popular TV progarmme “I Am Cait” that is no more on the E! Entertainment channel’s Schedule.


According to a statement released by the leading pay TV Company in Africa, they are aware of the concerns raised by some of their customers regarding the programme “I Am Cait”, a reality show about Caitlyn Jenner’s – formerly known as Bruce Jenner – transgender journey on E! Entertainment (DStv channel 124 and GOtv channel 26).

It was NBC Universal's decision to pull the mini-series off its schedule.

In lieu of this MultiChoice has promised to regularly assess the impact their content has on their customers and would like to reassure them that their interests are always foremost in their decision making.

The company also reminds their subscribers that Dstv and Gotv decoders are encrypted with the parental control feature that empowers parents with ultimate control over what young viewers can watch, and encourage parents to make use of this feature as much as possible to ensure that their children only watch what their parents deem appropriate.
