Senator Udo Udoma loses mum


Senator Udoma Udo Udoma is Board Chairman of UACN PLC, Nigeria’s foremost, most diversified conglomerate. He is the 5th Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC.  He served as the Special Adviser to the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources between 1993 and 1994 before he was elected to the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007. 
Senator Udoma is the senior Partner of Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie, a firm of Legal Practitioners which he founded in 1983. He also sits on the Board of other notable organizations including Linkage Assurance Plc as well as Unilever Nigeria Plc. 

His dear mother, lady Grace Mayen Udoma passed on, on January 17, 2015.

The funeral rites are as follows:

A commendation service to be held for her at 12 noon, on Monday, 2nd February, 2015, at the Methodist Church, Tinubu, Lagos.

A Service of Songs will hold at 6pm, on Thursday, 5th February, at the Ikot Abasi Local Government Field, Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State.

Her burial service will hold at 11am, on Friday, 6th February at the Ikot Abasi Local Government Field, Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State.

Followed by her internment at the Udo Udoma compound, at 8 Dr. Udoma Road, Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State.
